Kids After School Fashion Design Lab
This weekly fashion design lab is for kids ages 10-18. They will learn how to take their ideas for clothing design and turn them into reality. They’ll learn how to draw, sew by hand and by machine and have access to our materials & upcyling library to get creative. This is an ongoing “lab” environment where we work with kids at whatever level they are at. Led by Sarah Mark, founder of Slow Stitch.

Slow Stitch Mend & Upcycle Workshops
Starting January, 2026, the Slow Stitch artists in residence will host a monthly workshop focusing on the basics of mending, repair, upcycling and alterations. Bring your own project & we’ll help you. We’ll also have materials on hand for you to find a project. You’ll learn the basics of machine and hand sewing.
