Notes on Fabric:
Fabric suggestions: A: chambray, cotton, cotton blends, linen blends, poplin, shirtings;
Fabric amount: 45” width fabric need 2.5 yards, for 60” width fabric: need 3.5 yards.
Notes on Sizing:
This pattern includes men’s sizes 34–52, accommodating chest measurements from 34"–52" and roughly comparable to men’s XS–XXL retail sizing.
Sewing pattern sizing is different from standard store sizing, so participants should choose their pattern size based on their actual chest measurement, rather than the size they typically purchase in stores.
The shirt is designed with a relaxed, oversized fit and approximately 10" of ease through the chest. If you’re a XXXL, this pattern could still work, but it would not be advised for sizes above 3XL.
